THE GROUND FLOOR

Once you enter the Tower, built in 1893 by Count Christian de Tocqueville and his wife Alix de Puységur, you will pass through a small entrance hall with a vestiaire, a guest toilet and a hidden lift! The ground floor offers a large living-room space; a master fireplace will welcome you and help you unwind in the cozy canapés. On the opposite side of the floor there is a dining area with a large family table, a separate modern and comfortable kitchen, and a reading area. The walls are decorated with historical portraits, including those of Alexis de Tocqueville and his great-grand-father Monsieur de Malesherbes, the 18th century humanist and the defense lawyer for King Louis XVI.
